About
I am a student composer at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, where I am getting my masters degree in music composition. I graduated from Lawrence University with a B.Mus in theory and composition with an emphasis in jazz. I have had original pieces premiered by the Lawrence University Symphony Orchestra, the Lawrence University Concert Choir, the Lawrence University Hybrid Ensemble, the Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble, the Jane Bent Flute Quartet, the River View Middle School Jazz Ensemble, and the Lawrence University Music Scholars at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Appleton, WI.
I enjoy composing for a wide variety of musical ensembles and styles, including instrumental and vocal jazz, chamber ensembles, choral ensembles, symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, and soloists, to name a few.
Aside from composing, I also sing and conduct. A game of golf occasionally takes place as well.
